To address significantly high demand for holiday boarding, we implement a staggered process for accepting holiday reservations.
JULY 15th, 2023: We offer a limited group of clients an initial opportunity to reserve. This group will receive an email on July 15th with a link to our holiday reservation request form. We form this initial group by taking into consideration longevity of boarding (how long a client has been part of our pack) and regularity of boarding (how often a client boards with us). Due to our small scale + significant demand for holiday boarding, many wonderful clients will need to wait until after this initial round to see if space remains.
AUGUST 1, 2023: If space remains, we will begin accepting reservation requests from the entire pack. If you are not a recipient of our July 15th email, we look forward to hearing from you on or after August 1st.
WAITLIST: If our holiday packs fill, we will begin a waitlist. To join the waitlist, you will need to provide approximate travel dates. Waitlist order will prioritize regularity of boarding and length of time as an active client.
A spot may open to clients on the waitlist if 1) a reserved client cancels; 2) a reserved client does not pay their deposit by July 30th or 3) a reserved client does not pre-pay their remaining balance in full by November 4th (for Thanksgiving) or December 4th (for December holidays).
Our recommendation to all waitlisted clients: please plan to arrange alternative care for your dog. If you are covered with alternative care and space opens with us, then you're in a fortuitous position to choose between options.

DEPOSIT: A $200 per dog non-refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation. The deposit may be applied only toward boarding within this November holiday window. The deposit must be paid by July 30th. On August 1st any spots with unpaid deposits will open to other clients. If you cannot find your deposit invoice in your inbox, please check your spam/trash/junk folders.
FULL PAYMENT: Invoices for your full Thanksgiving payment (minus your deposit) will be sent November 1st and will be due November 4th. If you pay this November 1st invoice and later need to cancel, we will refund 50% of your November 1st invoice. On November 5th any spots not paid in full will re-open to clients on our waitlist.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE: We will adhere to our standard logistics of arrival/departure as described on our BOARDING page. Space on a particular day's transport/reception will be allotted on a "first come first served" basis. If a particular transport/reception is full at the time you specify arrival/departure dates for your dog, your dog will need to arrive on another day. No arrivals/departures on Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th.

Our rate includes boarding + roundtrip transport. Our minimum rate is for 4 nights boarding (or less). Our primary service area includes zip codes in Zone 1 (see zip code zones below). The higher base rate for Zone 2 reflects the higher cost of roundtrip transport outside our primary service area.

Note #3 (Non-standard receptions): If you wish to arrange a pick-up or drop-off at our home outside of our standard reception windows, add $50 to the total cost of a stay for each of these non-standard receptions at our home. Non-standard receptions may be available only rarely.
