To address significantly high demand for holiday boarding, we implement a staggered process for accepting holiday reservations.
JULY 1st, 2022: Clients who have boarded their dogs most often with us from July 1st, 2021 to June 30, 2022 will receive an email invitation to begin reserving.
JULY 15th, 2022: If space remains, we will begin accepting reservation requests from the entire pack. If you are not a recipient of our July 1st invite email, we look forward to hearing from you on or after July 15th.
WAITLIST: If our holiday packs fill, we will begin a waitlist in case of cancellations. Waitlist order will prioritize regularity of boarding and length of time as an active client. Though cancellations are not guaranteed, historically we do have cancellations. In the era of COVID, the possibility of cancellations only rises. In addition, any reserved spot will re-open for waitlisted clients if 1) a reserved client does not pay their deposit by July 14th or 2) a reserved client does not pre-pay their remaining balance in full by November 4th (for Thanksgiving) or December 4th (for December holidays). To join the waitlist, you will need to provide approximate travel dates. While our waitlist might not be your preferred landing spot, implementing our holiday reservation process in July gives you at least 4 or 5 months to identify an alternative holiday caregiver, if necessary.

WINDOW: Our Thanksgiving holiday window is November 18th through November 28th (inclusive). For our holiday rates, please refer to the tab below: "2022 November & December Holiday Rates."
DEPOSIT: A $150 per dog non-refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation. The deposit may be applied only toward boarding within this November holiday window. The deposit must be paid by Thursday, July 14th. On Friday, July 15th any spots with unpaid deposits will open to other clients. If you cannot find your deposit invoice in your inbox, please check your spam/trash/junk folders.
FULL PAYMENT: Invoices for your full Thanksgiving payment (minus your deposit) will be sent November 1st and will be due Friday, November 4th. If you pay this November 1st invoice and later need to cancel, we will refund 50% of your November 1st invoice. On Saturday, November 5th any spots not paid in full will revert to clients on our waitlist.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE: We will adhere to our standard logistics of arrival/departure as described on our BOARDING page. The following conditions/exceptions apply:
- Space on a particular day's transport will be allotted on a "first come first served" basis. If a particular transport is full at the time you specify arrival/departure dates for your dog, your dog will need to arrive on another day. Please plan reservations accordingly.
- On Tuesday the 22nd, we will receive only 2 clients during our reception window. These spots will be allotted on a "first come first served" basis. If these spots are full at the time you specify arrival/departure dates for your dog, your dog will need to arrive on another day. Please plan reservations accordingly.
- No arrivals/departures on Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th. Please plan reservations accordingly.

Our rate includes boarding + roundtrip transport. Our minimum rate is for 4 nights boarding (or less). Our primary service area includes zip codes in Zone 1 (see zip code zones below). However, we do actively serve zip codes in Zone 2. The higher base rate for Zone 2 reflects the higher cost of roundtrip transport outside our primary service area.

Note #1 (Zone 1 only): If you handle transport during our 11am-11:30am Tuesday/Thursday reception windows, our rate remains the same. No arrival/departures on Thursday, November 24th.
Note #2 (Zone 2 only): If you handle transport during our 11am-11:30am Tuesday/Thursday reception windows, we credit you $30 for each pick-up or drop-off. No arrival/departures on Thursday, November 24th.
Note #3 (Non-standard receptions): If you wish to arrange a pick-up or drop-off at our home outside of our standard 11am-11:30am Tuesday/Thursday reception windows, add $50 to the total cost of a stay for each of these non-standard receptions at our home. Non-standard receptions may be available only rarely.
